What are your reflections on life...
How have I fulfilled my purpose of life?
What will I be remebered for?
How was my life journey and what lessons I learnt?
What are my beliefs and my values - mission of my life?
What kind of legacy/values have I passed along to my family and others?
What do I want to pass on to the future generation?
What is an Ethical Will?
An ethical will, is a way to share your values, blessings, life’s lessons, hopes and dreams for the future, love, and forgiveness with your family and community.
What is the objective of writing an Ethical Will?
An ethical will is not a legal document; it does not distribute your material wealth. It is a heartfelt expression of what truly matters most in your life and may be one of the most cherished and meaningful gifts you can leave to your family and community.
An Ethical Will is written to pass on wisdom, love, expectations values , legacy, heritage, experience, moral behavior, how to manage life, help society to the future generation as legacy towards perpetuity.
Family businesses in India account for 60-70% of the GDP and 57% of employment in India. They contribute to nation building and play a critical role in the economic growth of the country. Business families need to anticipate the future and plan, keeping in mind the aspirations of stakeholders in business & family. The growth, success & perpetuity of a Family Business hinges on the unique values & stewardship driven by the founder/founding members as well as carried forward in true spirit by their succeeding generations. Writing an Ethical Will is an assured way of passing on the soul of the family business across generations.
