The NR Group founded in 1948 as fledgling incense sticks (agarbathi) manufacturing company, grew to be the world’s largest manufacturer of incense sticks. The family further expanded the business in Agarbathies, air care products, and distribution to directly reach 20k outlets across India.
This case study was compiled by PFBI in-house case research team with emphasis laid on- founder’s entrepreneurial spirit, talent development in the family’s Next generation, reflection of founder’s personal values in family business across generations.
